Dr. Michelle A. Broderick received her undergraduate training and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Dartmouth College (Hanover NH) and her graduate studies at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now known as Salus University.
She began her career as an associate of Dr. Littlefield and in 1994, joined the practice as a partner.
Dr. Broderick became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 1995. In qualifying for and maintaining fellowship (FAAO), individuals are evaluated against the highest standards of professional competence.
In 2012, Dr. Broderick became board certified. The American Board of Optometry (ABO) board certification is a process that allows doctors of optometry to demonstrate that they exceed all entry level requirements and are maintaining the appropriate knowledge, skills, and experience to deliver quality eye care.
Dr. Broderick has served on the Maine Optometric Association Board on both the Continuing Education Committee and the Children’s Vision committee. She was the American Optometric Association’s InfantSee leader for the state of Maine.
Dr. Broderick is currently practicing in both the Freeport and Brunswick offices. In addition to her primary practice, she provides vision therapy to patients of all ages.
Dr. Broderick enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering for local school and community projects. She loves to travel whenever she has the chance.
