Dr. Mathieu received his undergraduate training at the Colby College, graduating with a four year degree in 1981. His graduate training was from the New England College of Optometry where he majored in optometry for four years earning his doctorate degree in 1985.
Dr. Mathieu completed his internships at the Boston Eye Center, Brighton Marine Public Health Center and the Omni Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Mathieu was raised in Central Maine and enjoys his family, fishing, boating, travel and golf.
