What are Cataracts?
It’s common for your vision to worsen as you age, and one of the most common reasons is because of cataracts. With a cataract, your vision becomes blurry when the lens of your eye starts clouding, which prevents light from properly passing into your eye. This condition worsens over time and can result in vision loss or blindness if left untreated. The only way to restore your vision fully is to replace your clouded natural lens with an artificial lens during surgery.
Symptoms
When cataracts start to develop, you may not notice any obvious changes to your vision at first. As the condition progresses, you may begin to experience blurry vision, difficulty seeing in low light, haloed lights, colors fading, and double vision. Risk Factors

I thought the Oakley frames were probably beyond repair and they were not new frames. Unfortunately I was right about the frames. I was very pleased and surprised when they said they would replace the frames and even adjust the prescription slightly in the lenses. Dr Todd Hamilton at the Standish Office definitely went above and beyond to take great care of me and it is very much appreciated!
