Born and raised in northern Massachusetts, Dr. Stephen Arsenault first moved to Maine to pursue his Bachelor of Arts in Medical Biology from the University of New England in Biddeford. He then continued on to the New England College of Optometry to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree. While at NECO, Dr. Arsenault was an active member of his school’s community as a class council representative. He also served the community of Chulucanas, Peru while on an Optometric mission trip in June of 2016.

In order to gain a variety of optometric experiences and develop his clinical skills, Dr. Arsenault completed his optometric rotations at various private practices, community health centers, and Veteran Affairs clinics throughout New England. He interned at the Veterans Affairs in Lowell, MA, the Dorchester House Community Health Center in Dorchester, MA, MVC Eye Care in Merrimack, NH, and Eyesight Ophthalmic Services in Somersworth, NH.

Outside work, Dr. Arsenault enjoys the outdoors–hiking, rock climbing, and camping. He also likes to spend time with his family back home in Massachusetts.

Dr. Arsenault can be found at the Saco and Gorham offices providing primary eye care.
