Meet Dejan Varagic, O.D.
Dr. Dejan Varagic is a Maine native who is excited to return and care for patients in his home community. He provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, with a focus on making each visit comfortable, informative, and tailored to individual needs.
Education & Training
Dr. Varagic earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine before continuing his education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He graduated with honors as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, earning both his Doctor of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science.
During his clinical training, Dr. Varagic completed externships at Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale and Omni Eye Services in Atlanta, where he gained hands-on experience managing a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disease. He also completed additional training in pediatrics and specialty contact lenses at The Eye Institute in Davie, Florida.
