Dr. Jacqueline Wills grew up Mountainside NJ, a small suburb outside of New York City. She attended Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights NJ, graduating in 2013. She graduated from University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC with a degree in Exercise Science in 2016. She received a degree in vision science and her doctorate from NOVA Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2019 and 2021 respectively.

Dr. Wills completed her ocular disease externships at Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Omni Eye Services in Atlanta, GA, where she gained experience managing and treating glaucoma, cataracts and retinal conditions including pre and post-operative care. She completed her training in low vision, specialty contact lenses and pediatrics/binocular vision at The Eye Institute in Davie, FL. Her primary eye care rotation was completed at here at Maine Optometry.

During optometry school Dr. Wills was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She also completed a mission trip in Costa Rica with the NSU College of Optometry’s SVOSH chapter, where she was able to help serve the underprivileged. She hopes to continue mission trips and other philanthropic endeavors throughout her career.

In her free time Dr. Wills enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Wills is excited to be back at Maine Optometry as a doctor.
